Google Ads bank transfer payment not credited
Google Ads documentation › Billing & Payments › Payment Failures
A bank transfer not appearing in Google Ads requires payment tracing and account reconciliation. Payment methods and processing expectations vary by country and billing setup, so use the instructions generated for the actual account.
Confirm the issue
- Match beneficiary and payment reference to the generated instructions.
- Record amount, currency, transfer date and bank confirmation.
- Check whether the transfer completed or remains pending.
- Confirm the customer ID and billing setup intended to receive it.
Review and correction workflow
Do not treat a screenshot of a submitted transfer as proof of final credit. Ask the billing owner to reconcile the bank result with Google’s transaction history. For monthly invoicing, use the applicable collections process; prepay and postpay have their own support routes.
Escalate an unresolved completed transfer with the relevant proof and reference. Avoid unnecessary repeat transfers while the first payment is untraced. Keep sensitive account numbers redacted except where the official secure process requires them.
Illustrative review example
Funds were sent using an old beneficiary reference from another account. The investigation needs the original instruction and transfer details, not an ad-copy change.
Should I apply monthly-invoicing instructions to every account?
No. Select the official payment-tracing guidance for the account’s billing setting.
Verify the outcome
Keep the original notice, the evidence reviewed and the action taken in one dated record. Confirm the resulting status in the affected account or item. A completed internal checklist is evidence of your review; it does not override Google’s decision.
Related checks and next steps
Use unpaid-balance suspension guidance if the uncredited transfer is accompanied by a suspension. A separate evidence request belongs under payment-method verification.
