Google Ads eligible but no impressions
Google Ads documentation › Review & Eligibility › Eligible & Eligible (Limited)
An eligible ad with no impressions needs delivery diagnostics, not an automatic policy appeal. Eligibility indicates one part of readiness; the campaign, targeting, bidding and account conditions still matter.
Confirm the issue
- Confirm an appropriate date range and reporting filters.
- Check campaign and ad-group enablement and schedules.
- Review targeting, bids, budgets and conversion setup where relevant.
- Check account, billing and policy notifications independently.
Review and correction workflow
Work from the broadest blocking condition toward the specific ad. Establish whether the campaign is active and has available traffic before changing creative. Record observations with the same date range so comparisons remain meaningful.
Use the detailed campaign or bid-strategy explanation for a confirmed constraint. Change one relevant factor with a documented reason rather than raising every setting at once. An eligible status is not a promise of impressions or conversions.
Illustrative review example
An eligible ad sits in a campaign whose start date is in the future. An ad appeal does not address that scheduling condition.
Should I search for my own ad to prove it is running?
A personal search is not a reliable delivery audit. Use account reporting and the appropriate diagnostic tools.
Verify the outcome
Keep the original notice, the evidence reviewed and the action taken in one dated record. Confirm the resulting status in the affected account or item. A completed internal checklist is evidence of your review; it does not override Google’s decision.
