Google Ads multiple account abuse
Google Ads documentation › Policy Issues › Circumventing Systems & Policy Evasion
Multiple-account abuse involves using accounts to evade enforcement or distribute prohibited activity. Legitimate businesses can have multiple advertising arrangements, but those arrangements need accurate ownership and compliance records.
Confirm the issue
- List the business owner, manager and payer for relevant accounts.
- Identify previous suspensions or disapprovals relevant to the notice.
- Check whether replacement accounts continued the same unresolved advertising.
- Distinguish legitimate business separation from enforcement evasion.
Review and correction workflow
Prepare an account relationship map and enforcement timeline. Explain why each legitimate account exists and which entity it advertises. Do not remove accurate history from an appeal simply because it complicates the explanation.
Resolve the decision through the affected account’s official process. Creating another account, changing a domain or rotating identities to continue the same suspended activity does not address the underlying issue. Keep agencies informed of relevant unresolved enforcement.
Illustrative review example
A group operates distinct businesses with separate account owners. That is different from repeatedly opening accounts to continue one suspended offer.
Can I open an account after a suspension to keep advertising?
Do not create replacement accounts to bypass the suspension. Address the original decision and relevant relationships through the supported process.
Verify the outcome
Keep the original notice, the evidence reviewed and the action taken in one dated record. Confirm the resulting status in the affected account or item. A completed internal checklist is evidence of your review; it does not override Google’s decision.
Related checks and next steps
For an association-based account decision, use related-account suspension guidance. Prepare the relationship evidence with the appeal evidence guide.
