Google Ads appeal rejected: next checks
Google Ads documentation › Fix Guides › How to Appeal Google Ads Decisions
A rejected Google Ads appeal needs a review of the decision and evidence before another submission. An unchanged repeat request can fail to address the issue and may be affected by appeal limits or duplicate handling.
Confirm the issue
- Record the rejection outcome and appeal scope.
- Compare the submitted explanation with the policy notice.
- Identify missing evidence or unresolved affected elements.
- Check current limits, waiting rules and support instructions.
Review and correction workflow
Separate a rejected decision from a pending or duplicate request. Review whether the correction actually covers the flagged experience and whether the evidence supports the explanation. If no new fact exists, repeating the same wording is not a substantive next step.
Use the appropriate support or review route when the current guidance requires it. Keep a single timeline of submissions and outcomes. Do not create new ads, accounts or domains to evade an unresolved decision; address the actual policy condition.
Illustrative review example
An appeal says a landing page was corrected, but an inherited tracker still routes some visits elsewhere. The rejected result should prompt investigation of that gap.
Should I resubmit immediately until it works?
No. Review the decision, current official limits and relevant new evidence before taking the next supported action.
Verify the outcome
Keep the original notice, the evidence reviewed and the action taken in one dated record. Confirm the resulting status in the affected account or item. A completed internal checklist is evidence of your review; it does not override Google’s decision.
Related checks and next steps
Recheck the affected status in Disapproved Ads or Account Suspensions. The scope of the decision determines which evidence and review route are relevant.
