Google Ads destination not accessible
Google Ads documentation › Policy Issues › Destination & Landing Page Issues
Destination not accessible concerns availability of the advertising destination in the relevant location and to the advertising crawler. A successful test from the business’s office does not establish access for the intended audience.
Confirm the issue
- Confirm target locations and the exact destination path.
- Record location-specific error or access-limitation messages.
- Review geographic access rules and server responses.
- Check whether the mobile or app destination has separate availability limits.
Review and correction workflow
Ask the site owner to test the intended audience experience and explain any regional restrictions. Separate a deliberate business restriction from an accidental firewall or server configuration. Record the result by location, device and time.
Correct the relevant accessibility problem or align the advertising with a compliant destination and permitted audience. Retest before using the review route. Do not infer that every access issue is a claim or content-policy problem.
Illustrative review example
A service page loads locally but denies visitors from a targeted country. The advertising setup and destination availability need to be reviewed together.
Is a VPN test enough?
It can provide an observation, but it does not replace the server evidence, intended-location checks and account-specific review.
Verify the outcome
Keep the original notice, the evidence reviewed and the action taken in one dated record. Confirm the resulting status in the affected account or item. A completed internal checklist is evidence of your review; it does not override Google’s decision.
Related checks and next steps
Use the landing page preflight to record the affected location and journey. For a review request after correction, follow the disapproved-ad workflow.
